Coastal with Kathryn, the hottest new show in the Lowcountry, is teaming up with The Breeze Trolley to provide Hilton Head culture-rich stories to riders throughout the 2022 summer season.
The CwK and Breeze teams immediately saw the value in partnering. “I love the content because it highlights so much of or local community history, art, music, and events in a visually stimulating format. It was just a no-brainer,” said Brian Sullivan, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Breeze.
“Our goal with the show is to educate, entertain and inspire our viewers. We want to share the hidden gems of coastal communities, have people explore with us online and visit locally if they can. We are based on Hilton Head Island, which is rich in history, diversity and culture and it made sense to focus our first two seasons on this community.” Says Kari Maltz, CMO for the show. “The Breeze Trolley is a great feature on the island, and we love the opportunity to share our stories with their riders each day. Even before arriving, we hope travelers will watch our YouTube channel for inspiration to plan their trip and include the free Breeze Trolley service to get them to the great destinations they plan to visit.” Host and producer, Kathryn Mademann, shares “I’m delighted we will entertain island visitors while they catch the Breeze!”
About the Breeze
The Breeze Trolley launched in 2018 as a public transportation alternative for residents and visitors on Hilton Head Island, SC. The Trolley operates 7 days a week from April – Labor Day and expects to provide more than 60,000 trips this season, reducing the strain on the Island’s busy roadways. Coastal with Kathryn gears up for Season 2 with a crowd-funding Kickstarter campaign

With a passion for storytelling and creating new opportunities, local entrepreneur Kathryn Mademann launches her dream travel show, Coastal with Kathryn. This show brings attention to the beauty and wonderment of coastal communities. Kathryn’s authentic story-telling style brings her audience into an intimate conversation with real people who are sharing their daily lives and passions. Kathryn gives her audience an insider’s view as she searches for hidden gems that showcase the vibrancy of these communities.
Season 1 focused on the South Carolina Lowcountry and has grabbed the attention of locals and visitors alike. The show was recently picked up for airing on local cable and TV stations reaching over 3+ million viewers.
The team just launched a Kickstarter Campaign for season 2 with a goal to raise $10,000 and reach 5 million viewers by the end of the year.
